Nineteen genotypes of urdbean representing three varieties of [Vigna mungo and 16 F8 genotypes derived from intervarietal crosses were evaluated in a randomized block design with three replications for 12 characters. Observations revealed significant genotypic differences and genotypes were classified in five clusters. Cluster I was the largest with ten genotypes and cluster V contained only one most divergent genotype. The intercluster distance was minimum (27.14) between cluster I and cluster II and maximum (77.30) between cluster II and cluster III.
