Study was conducted on the trained dairy farm women selected from the two adopted villeges of KVK, NDRI, Karnal. 'One group before after research design was employed for the present investigation. A high level of symbolic adoption (81.70%) was found even before training. However, the training programme had a significant impact to the extent of 17.67 percent on the symbolic adoption level of the trained farm women. None of the selected traits of dairy farm women had significant association with the change in the level of symholic adoption due to training.
