Studies on correlation between yield and yield components studied in eight F3 populations of greengram revealed that clusters. pods/cluster and pods would be more appropriate for yield improvement than other characters. However, as the association between characters varied with the crosses. formulation of separate discriminant function is suggested for efficient selection programme.
