The study revealed that the exogenous application of GA3 and 2, 4 -D substantially increased the growth and yield in cowpea. The maximum effect was found in spraying of GA3 @ 200 ppm followed by spraying of 2, 4 -D @ 5 ppm on 15 and 30 days after sowing which enhanced both growth and yield.
