Abstract

The investigation indicated that for acid soils, the mere development of efficient native strains of Rhizobium or Bradyrhizobium spp. alone is not sufficient for inducing better root nodulation and plant growth in blackgram and greengram but it should be along with a package of practices recommendation consisting of application of organic manure and liming.
