An Investigation on character association for seed yield and its component characters with 36 accessions of winged bean revealed that the seed yield per plant had significant positive association with seed weight per pod, number of seeds, dry pod yield and dry pod number per plant and shelling percentage. However, strong negative association of seed yield with protein content of seeds was observed. Path analysis studies revealed that, number of leaves per plant, shelling percentage, dry pod yield per plant, leaves dry weight and number of seeds per pod had high positive direct effect on seed yield per plant.
