A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of top dressing of nitrogen during flowering and maturity stages on pod and seed yield of greengram. Results indicated that over and above the recommended dose of 25 and 50 kg ha−1 of N and P as basal application, top dressing of 10 kg N ha−1 once at stray flowering and once at pod development stage should be applied for increased yield.
