Abstract

Twenty blackgram genotypes were evaluated over three seasons from Rabi 2001–2003 and Kharif 2002. Out of these 20 entries, nine entries viz., VBG 23, VBG 62, VBG 69, VBG 71, VBG 73, VBG 81, VBG 89, VBG 94 and VBN (Bg)4 were having higher yield and lower CV values. Out of these VBG 89, VBN (Bg)4 and VBG 62 have recorded higher mean seed yield, average responsiveness to season and stability in boh approaches.
