ABSTRACT
A field study was conducted for two years during rabi seasons 1995–96 and 1996–97 to find out the nutrients (N, P and K) uptake by wheat and Indian mustard crops in wheat-mustard intercropping system with limited water supply conditions. The higher uptake of N, P and K by grain and straw was found in sole wheat and sale mustard crops. The intercropping, in general, decreased the N, P and K uptake by grain and straw of both the crops.
