ABSTRACT
The experiment was laid out in randomized block design with twelve treatments replicated thrice. The results revealed that the propagation of sapota var. Kalipatti by softwood grafting using 15 days prior defoliated scion stick of 8 cm length and 8 mm in diameter on 18 months old uniform khirni seedling stock undertaken in the months of August and September in 50% shadenet house gave maximum graft success percentage, graft survival percentage, number of leaves per graft, sprout length and early bud sprout in 50% shadenet house under Marathwada conditions.
