The field experiment was conducted to evaluate the babchi genotypes for psoralen
content under Akola agrodimatic conditions. Among the ten genotypes'tested, the maximum
seed yield was obtained with genotype ICl11228 followed by IC111226 and ICll1238. The
maximum oleoresinous extract was obtained with IC111226 followed by IC111239 and
ICl11246. The psoralen content was also found highest in genotype IC111228, however, It
was at par with ICl11238 and ICl11249.
