Pot experiment$ conducted on the effect of different levels of nitrogen and
phosphorus fertilizers as well as farm yard manure on the incidence of cauliflower
stem rot revealed that the higher doses of phosphorus I.e. 75 Kg/ha applied
alongwlth lOOKg or 125 Kg of nltrogen/ha gave significantly less disease incidence
I.e. 7.34 and 19.31 per cent respectively compared to 21.34 per cent In
unamended soli. Increase in dosage of farm yard manure from 25 to 75 tlha,
resulted in increase in disease severity to the extent of 116%.
