EVALUATION OF SUNFLOWER GERMPLASM AGAINST ALTERNARIA LEAF BUGHT AND RUST DISEASES

ABSTRACT
A field experiment was conducted to evaluate the reaction of 70 sunflower germplasm lines against Alternaria blight and rust for two seasons of 1998–99 and 1999–2000. Une 302 B was found highly resistant to rust was also moderately resistant to a1ternaria blight. Five lines exhibited the dual resistance.
