The studies on the movement of antibiotic resistant marker in plant system of T. durum L. and T. aestivum varied from 60 to 100 per cent in different plant parts of aseptically seedlings of various cultivars or wheat. The percentage occurrence of antibiotic resistant marker analysed at 35th and 75th was maximum in T. aestivum like DWR-137 and MAC5–1967 respectively, whereas among the T. durum cultivars NI-5439 and DWR-39 showed maximum percentage of antibiotic resistant marker at 35th and 75th respectively.
