Of the five inoculation techniques evaluated for induction of rust by Phakopsora pachyrhizi Syd. the paper pad inoculation was found most efficient requiring shortest incubation period of 7 days and produced highest visible uredopustules (80.82) per leaf on soybean cultivar MACS-13.
