Efficacy fungicides/antibiotic was tested in the laboratory by Poisoned Food Technique against Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. Malvacearum. It was evident from the result that fungicides/antibiotic significantly reduced number of colonies of the bacteria at 10 and 100 ppm as compared to control. Streptocycline and Captan were more promising.
