<div>Background: The King chilli cultivation in Peren district is very common practice in Nagaland state, which influence the socio-economic status of the family due to daily diet, so the present research work have been highlight the marketing cost and price analysis. 
 
Methods: The present research investigation for data collection works was carried out during the agricultural year 2019 to 2021 with a total of 60 King chilli respondents; selected by following a multi-stage stratified simple random sampling technique to known about the factors responsible for the production. 
 
Result: Study reveals the overall benefit-cost ratio over total cost on the sample farm was 3.27: 1. Total four marketing channel were identified and the marketing efficiency by Acharya&rsquo;s method was higher (0.13) on channel A.&nbsp;</div>

Marketing Pattern Analysis of the King Chilli Cultivation in Peren District of Nagaland

Background: The cultivating of King chilli has been practicing since long in Peren district of Nagaland; and registered under Geographical Indication Tag in the year 2006. So, the present study aimed to access the inputs used with maximum level of resource-use-efficiency tocontributethe output and highlight the major constraints faced by the King chilli growers. 
 
Methods: The present research investigation were carried out during the agricultural year 2020-21 with a total of 120 King chili growers; selected by following a multi-stage simple random quota sampling technique to access the impact.&nbsp; 
 
Result: The King chilli growers of marginal and small both farm size groups were found to be highly statistically significant at 1 per cent level; by ceteris paribus, the selected inputs were categorized viz; underutilized and over utilized with the available resources and further main constraints faced by the respondents were highlighted.

Resource-use-efficiency and Constraints Faced by the King Chilli Growers in Peren District of Nagaland

The present study was conducted to measure the reproductive attributes of Naga local pigs (Votho) in Kohima, Peren and Phek district of Nagaland. The reproductive parameters were measured through field survey and reproductive records of owner. The reproductive parameters such as age at first fertile service (AFFS), age at first farrowing (AFF), gestation length, farrowing interval, litter size at birth, litter size at weaning, litter weight at birth, litter weight at weaning, mortality rate and stillbirth rate were measured. The result revealed that there was a significant difference among the different districts of Nagaland in AFFS, AFF and litter weight at birth. Parameters such as AFFS, AFF and litter weight at birth were significantly higher and gestation length, farrowing interval, litter size at weaning, litter weight at birth, litter weight at weaning were non-significantly higher in Kohima than in Peren and Phek District. Similarly, parameters such as litter size at birth, mortality rate were non-significantly higher in Peren district and stillbirth was non- significantly higher in Phek district than other districts of Nagaland. These reproductive attributes analyses may be useful in selection of breeding stock for future parents and select the place for breeding programme for indigenous local Naga pigs.
