<div style="text-align: justify;">The study was conducted in the Udaipur district of Rajasthan to find the knowledge and benefits gained by rural women from Rashtriya Krishi Beema Yojana (RKBY) and problems faced by them in gaining benefits of the scheme. A sample of 100 rural women was selected randomly for the present study from four villages namely Dhar, Kathar,Madar and Mathatha from the Badgaon panchayat samiti of Udaipur, Rajasthan. Personal interview method was used for data collection. Frequencies, percentage, means percent scores and mean weighted scores were used for analysis of the data. Findings reveal that the respondents possessed average knowledge about RKBY with the MPS of 38.54. Regarding the benefit of RKBY gained by the rural women, it was found that the benefit of scheme was gained only by 2 per cent of the respondents. Study of problems experienced by rural women in gaining benefits of the RKBY revealed that the respondents faced the problems of unavailability of benefit on time to large extent with MPS 3.</div>

<div>Weather and climatological studies offers great scope for strengthening the agricultural production science temperature, humidity, photoperiod and rainfall are the key factors deciding the ultimate fate of any crop including sericulture. Mulberry cultivation and silkworm rearing the two most important aspects of sericulture and both depends on environmental factors for successful harvest of cocoon crop, the ultimate product of silk industry. Various agencies like weather forecasting and meteorological department keeps an eye on the upcoming weather events for providing necessary advisory services to the farmers for making precautionary measures in order to avoid the risk of crop failure and wastage of resources. Timely information about rainfall pattern helps the farmers to decide the time of field operations and post harvest activities. In sericulture, role of environmental conditions for both mulberry and silkworm is of utmost importance and contributes 37.8% for successful cocoon crop. Cocoon crop productivity declines considerably due to slight fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Scientific knowledge therefore helps to cope up with such adervisities. Meteorological forecasting thus opens new avenues in the field of sericulture for pre planning and successful execution of silkworm crop. Therefore, an attempt has been made to present an elaborative context of meteorological studies for accelerating success rate of sericulture crop productivity at commercial level.</div>

<div>Agriculture is dangerous in India due to output and price instability. Crop insurance helps farmers by stabilizing agricultural profits, encouraging them to farm, lowering debt and reducing the need for crop failure assistance. This study examined crop insurance schemes in India and their effects on farmers. Based on terms like crop insurance, Insurance, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana we collected 175 papers by using various database such as Google Scholar, Web of Science and EBSCO host along with government data. Each manuscript&rsquo;s title determined its initial relevance. Crop insurance is an important risk management tool, but most Indian farmers can&rsquo;t afford it. The Indian government produces new agricultural policies every few years, but crop insurance programmes have been inconsistent and inefficient due to operational flaws. Agriculture insurance in India is still growing so that further research is need to be done to investigate the potential of an agriculture insurance market in India that is both financially sustainable and economically advantageous and successfully mitigates farmers&rsquo; risks.</div>
