SUPPlEMENTATION OF PHYfASEAND CARBOHYDRASE TO PARBOILED RICE POLISH BASED DIET FOR THE GROWfH AND MEAT YIElD OF BROILERS
1Department of Poultry Science,
Bangladesh Agricul!"' oral University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh
ABSTRACT
One hundred ninety two day-old Arbor Acres broiler chicks were fed ad libitum of 16 isonitrogenous and isocaloric parboiled rice polish based diets with different combination levels of phytase (0, 740, 1000 and 1250 FYT/kg) and carbohydrase (0, 80, 100 and 120 ppm/kg) up to 42 days of age for, abundant use of parboiled rice polish (PRP) in broiler diet. The growth rate, feed conversion efficiency, survivability, meat yield and profitability were increased with the increased level of mixed enzymes in PRP based diets. Abundant PRP with maximum supplementation of phytase and carbohydrase enzymes showed the highest body weight, meat yield and profitability. Therefore, this study concluded that abundant PRP with phytase and carbohydrase combinations might be used in the diet to improve broiler performance and to have maximum benefit.
