HISTOLOGICAL STUDY OF SKIN EPIDERMIS IN RED KANDHARI COWS

The present study was conducted on 15(fifteen) female red kandhari breed of cattle. Epidermis
was the outermost layer of the skin and composed of four layers viz stratum corneum, strantum
granulosum, stratum spinosum and stratum basale. The melanocytes were more in number in
lactating cow as compared with a non lactating and pregnant cow
