Evaluation of losses caused by pulse beetle in seed of different genotypes of chickpea.
ABSTRACT
A lab Experiment was conducted during 2013-14 to evaluate the losses caused by pulse beetle in different varieties carieties of chickpea in Department of Entomology R.V.S.K.V.V. at College of Agriculture Gwalior (M.P.) Significantly less per cent loss in weight due to insect infestation was recorded in genotypes JGG-1, JG-315, C-235, JSC-43 (18.1% to 20.2%) whereas, per cent loss in weight was significantly more in genotypes JKG-3, JG-317, JGK-1, JG-16(28.4 to 29.6%).
